My CVS Trip(s) 1/23/12

I went to CVS on Monday to pick up the weekly ad so I could write a post about it. I ended up shopping and "winging it." If you have some spare time, I encourage you to just cruise the aisles at CVS. There are lots of things on the shelves marked down 75%. I always bring my coupons with me just in case of unadvertised deals. Here is a picture of what I got:

4 Skippy Natural Peanut Butters $1.66 ea w/rain check (saved $3.23 ea.)
Final Price $6.64

1 can Lindsay Black Olives $.88
Final Price $.88

2 Osteo BiFlex, BOGOFree, $20.99 each
used 2x$7/1 Osteo BiFlex
Final Price $6.99/2

2 Marvel Kids Vitamins, BOGOFree, $9.79 each
used 2x$1/1 Marvel or Disney Vitamins (RP 1/15/12, or RP 1/22/12)
and used $1 Marvel or Disney Vitamins CVS coupon (from he coupon machine)
Final Price $6.79/2

1 John Frieda Hair Color $3.57 (75% off!)
used $3/1 John Frieda Foam Hair color coupon (SS 12/4/12)
Final Price $.57

1 L'Oreal Hair Color $4.49 (75% off!)
1 L'Oreal Hair Color $2.69 (75% off!)
used $5/2 L'Oreal hair Color (RP 1/1/12)
Final Price $2.18/2

I started out with $4 ECBs

Before sales and coupons all this would have cost me $126.38. I paid $20.05 + tax using a $10 CVS cash card from last week so I paid $13.37 OOP including tax. I saw Clairol hair dye on sale but knew my coupons for those were at home so I went back later and bought this:

Clairol Nice N Easy $2.49 (saved $7.50)
used $3/1 Nice & Easy Foam Color (P&G 1/1/12)
 Final Price $.51 profit

Clairol Natural Instincts Color $2.74 (saved $8.25)
used $1/1 Natural Instincts Hair Color (P&G 1/1/12)
Final Price $1.74

My subtotal was $1.23 so with tax I paid $1.65 for both    Without sales and coupons this would have cost $21 + tax.
